The Name Says it BEST. Siwatu Makalani, REAL NAME. Siwatu (see-wah-too) meaning "The prince born in a time of war" Makalani (mahk-a -lahnee) meaning "Very Skilled Writer". Siwatu Makalani is a Low Country Native who lends his charismatic demeanor and storytelling nature to his Gullah-Geechee Roots.

Once shy and soft spoken, he honed his ability to write as the means to get his point across more vividly and without stutters. Growing up, people would hear his ART and be so in awe, they'd ask him to pen poems and even verses for them (before ghost-writing was even a thing).

Often called one of the more "Conscious" artist of The City, possibly due to his deep religious, cultural, militant upbringing or his lifestyle transformation. Either way, he leaves a mural of melodic and cadenced stories of life lessons, thought provoking imagery, and a grip of comic relief imprinted in the minds of those that listen.

When asked what the people could expect from his projects, he replied, "Timeless Tales, for Changing Times." Siwatu Makalani IS the blur of thin line between POETRY, RAP, RAGGAE, HIP HOP, BLUES, COUNTRY, REVOLUTION, STORY TELLING and MARTIAL ARTS.

God Imaj, formerly known as TRUe is a recording Hip-Hop /Rap artist and West African Percussion musician. Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia in the tight knit community of Carver Village.

After release in 2011 God Imaj linked up with “Hold It Down Ent.” Thru hood ties and 2009 street hit “Sad Song” performing the single and many other singles throughout the Low Country area, bringing it real, raw, and uncut. After this stint he has been a solo artist.
